Yuan, 35, has tumours all over her body but by far the largest was one that covered her back and right leg down to her ankle.
Doctors have now performed a successful 10-hour surgery to remove this tumour, which weighed 55lbs.
When Yuan was born she was covered with brown marks all over the body but due to family poverty never saw a doctor.
Ten years ago the tumour on her back and right hip started to grow extremely quickly, exerting pressure to her spine and finally distorting it.
In the recent months the tumour has grown to weigh even more than Yuan, making it hard for her to move.
Yuan never went to school and is an illiterate.
She earns her life by polishing shoes on the roadside and has become used to the way people react to her.

Tinubu- october1
Senator Oluremi Tinubu who shares the same birth year with Nigeria, said in a statement, in Abuja, on Tuesday that this year’s occasion offers yet another opportunity for us as a people, to re-examine our ways and re-commit to being part of birthing a new Nigeria.
The legislator equally noted that it is also a time for us all to ponder on what Nigeria has to show for its 54 years, in terms of development in education, infrastructure, security, healthcare delivery, agriculture along with other areas that touch the lives of millions of our citizens.
She also said: “Our situation is further compounded by the fact that many do not know where the next meal will come from and countless university graduates roam the streets in search of non-existent jobs. No doubt, Nigeria’s situation is quite worrisome.”
She described that citizens’ dreams of imminent greatness on the eve of independence have been replaced by daily horrors. Millions are internally-displaced as refugees in their fatherland while increasing rates of armed robbery, road accidents, kidnapping and other horrible factors continue to cause much pain for many Nigerian families.
“Surely, for most citizens, official insensitivity to worsening insecurity, palpable mass poverty and the masses’ daily struggle for survival makes it difficult to partake in celebrations.” She said.
She also said there is nothing wrong with seeking re-election, only if the nation’s elected officials are focused on the interest of the ordinary people.
She stressed that it will not be a selfish quest if it is a people-focused government that values the interest of the people by creating jobs, implementing social security to take care of the elderly and other vulnerable groups while giving all a true sense of belonging.
She urger Nigerians to ensure that as we approach coming elections, we make a resolute decision to cast our vote for change.
She said this is necessary for our nation to make progress and rise towards achieving long overdue development that would benefit all.

“ Since the complete take-over of Michika and Madagali by the insurgents on the 7th of September 2014, no single soldier is noticed in Michika Community. The only thing we hear is Jet fighters that come from Yola to drop bombs and go back. Our people are in the state of complete helplessness .
Government seems not to be coming to our aids as the insurgents control everything in our local government” the villagers lamented.
According to them, the insurgents are having filed days killing and maiming our people as nobody is allow to bury the dead leaving their bodies at the mercies of vultures and pigs.

President jonathan pettioned over the killing of 31 year old graduate
The police had tagged the engineering graduate an armed robbery suspect, an allegation his family denied.
Chukwuma reportedly died in detention six days after he was arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Enugu State Police Command.
It was, however, gathered that few months after, the police authorities, after an investigation from the force headquarters, found out that the deceased was not an armed robber.
Spokesperson of the family, Mr. Chinedu Ihezie, said that although police had asked them to go and bury their son, it would be difficult to do so as Enugu State Police Command had turned down a request for autopsy.
The letter, addressed to President Jonathan, was copied to the Senate President, David Mark; Mathew Omegara, representing Okigwe North federal constituency, House of Representatives; Chairman, Police Service Commission; the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command; and the Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission, Abuja.
The letter, signed by Chinedu Ihezie on behalf of the family of the deceased, is praying President Jonathan to prevail on the Police authorities to, among other things, arrest and investigate the officers involved in the matter.
Contacted, the Police image-maker, Enugu State Com-mand, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, said: “I am not aware of the incident. Send me the details and I will look into it.”
It also requested conduct of a genuine post-mortem examination on Chukwuma’s corpse and release of his corpse for burial.
The letter read in part: “Chukwuma Ihezie, a native of Umuozu Ezumoha in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State, born in 1983.
“Our heart is bleeding, our hope is in God Almighty through you. The future hope and light of the family has been so extinguished. We humbly cry unto you sir.
“On January 12, Chukwuma went for his normal cab work and was arrested by Independence Layout, Enugu policemen for picking a passenger whom the police falsely labelled an armed robber.
“He was kept under detention in their station under a DPO (names withheld). He was later transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, office by Zakari Yau, along with his handwritten statement. On January 18, Chukwuma was shot on the spinal cord and killed by SARS without a fair hearing in any court of law and his corpse dumped in UNTH, Ituku Ozala, Enugu, mortuary on Saturday, January 18.
“Chukwuma was killed to cover up a secret, which could have been unveiled if he was allowed to talk.”

Nigerian Army will set up another court-martial to try its erring officers and soldiers
The court martial, which will be inaugurated tomorrow, at the Command Army Officers Mess, Abuja, has Colonel M. S. Yusuf, as president of the court while Lieutenant-Colonel Ukpe-Ukpe will serve as judge advocate.
The army authorities were said to have advised the affected officers and soldiers to make arrangement for their legal counsel to defend them on the charges slammed on them.
Sources hinted that even though members of the court-martial would be officially inaugurated tomorrow, the court would not sit until after about two weeks because of the public holidays declared by the Federal Government for the Sallah celebrations.
Similar court-martial is going on at various divisions and units of the Nigerian Army across the country for various offenses including indiscipline, information leakage to terrorists, failure to advance and perform military duties, acts of cowardice, negligence and other attitudes unbecoming of soldiers.
A top army officer discussed the incessant acts of cowardice displayed by some soldiers deployed to fight insurgency in the North East, saying some of them abandoned their weapons and even pulled off their uniforms when they came face-to-face with the terrorists.
This singular act, according to the officer, was responsible for the criticism of the military by Nigerians that Boko Haram insurgents were better armed than the military.
“What do you expect when some soldiers abandon their weapons and uniform on sighting Boko Haram terrorists? Of course, the result is that you end up increasing their armoury and giving them the guts to want to dare our troops.
“The Boko Haram insurgents boast that they have the capability to engage our soldiers for the next 45 years, simply because they are in possession of some of our weapons. But, I bet you, all that will change in a matter of hours, trust me,” he said.
Some soldiers who absconded from their units on hearing that they were going to be deployed to the zone, were also going to face court-martial
OMG Beyonce had a wardrobe malfunction
Beyonce might have danced a little too hard this weekend and ended up accidentally flashing the crowd.
The international pop star suffered the rather embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she graced the stage with husband Jay Z during Saturday night's Global Citizen Festival in New York City, after busting out some vigorous dance moves.
As she appeased the audience with her typical enthusiastic stage presence, the mother-of-one's lacy blouse burst open, revealing her flesh-coloured bra mid-way through the performance.

Boko haram: 1200 Nigeria security personnel in Russia for training
This was reported on vanguard, i think Nigeria is now taking this whole boko haram thing serious.
About 1,200 Nigerian security personnel including members of the Armed Forces, the police and members of the Department of State Services, DSS, have so far left Abuja for anti-insurgent training in Russia.
Their departure for training as Special Forces, security sources said, followed alleged snub or nonchalant attitude of both the United Kingdom and United States towards Nigeria in her fight against Boko Harm terrorists.
Saturday Vanguard gathered that 400 security personnel left the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in a chattered aircraft at about 5pm weekend, accompanied by top security officers as well as Russian instructors who had been in the country to part of the initial selection process for the officers and men that would take part in the training.
It was further revealed that two other batches of 400 troops each had earlier departed for the training, bringing the total number of officers so far to about 1,200.
Saturday Vanguard had exclusively reported that following the dithering of the some western nations especially, notably Britain and the United States of America over the training of Nigerian security personnel to confront the Boko Haram insurgents, the Federal Government had decided to turn to Russia to meet some of its immediate security needs pending the resolution of the diplomatic difference between Nigeria and the two Western countries.
According to sources the latest batch of Nigerian security personnel are joining three batches of their colleagues who had left for training in Russia earlier this year.
The last group would be in Russia for four months before returning to the countryearly next year to form a nucleus of the Special Forces Brigade to be set up by the country.
A similar scenerio played out when Nigeria faced sanctions following the annulment of the June 12, 1993 presidential elections won by the late Moshood Abiola by the then Military government led by late General Sani Abacha as the Federal Government turned to China and India for its miltary needs.
The emerging scenario in the fight against terror and the steps Nigeria’s government has taken would have resulted in global sensation during the cold war as the West would have fought to keep her allies to the then Soviet Union as now represented by Russia which has, although, embraced free market economy.
Nigeria, for years, enjoyed close ties with the West and was seen as a US ally. But the seeming nonchalant attitude towards it by its traditional allies has reportedly compelled the country to turn to Russia and China for the training of its military as well as acquisition of military hardware to fight Boko Haram.
However, highly placed military and intelligence sources told Saturday Vanguard in Abuja that the decision to turn to the other two world military powers was an interim measure to roll back the advances made by the Boko Haram insurgents who have gained some grounds in seizing and controlling some towns and villages in the north eastern states of Borno and Adamawa before the latest defeat suffered by the insurgents in the last two weeks due to the increased performance of Nigerian troops, leading to the killing of the insurgents leader, Abubakar Shekau.
Following the increasing sophistication of the tactics employed by the Boko Haram terrorists, the Nigerian government had reportedly approached both the US and British governments to procure arms for its armed forces in order to effectively counter the insurgents but the two governments continued to dither, a situation that might have been responsible for some of the gains recorded by terrorists in recent times.
A senior security official told Saturday Vanguard: “the United States and Britain appear unwilling to provide arms to our armed forces. It is surprising because these are two friendly countries to Nigeria which is under threat from terrorists. We have no option but to look somewhere else for our needs pending when the issues are resolved at the diplomatic level by our government.”
However, Russia which has always been willing to supply weapons and some other logistics to Nigeria when other western countries are not forthcoming readily accepted the Nigerian proposal as the Nigeria Air Force, NAF, has several Russian fighter jets in its fleet.
Already, Nigeria has entered into contract with Russian arms manufacturers for the supply of high calibre weapons to the Nigerian Army to combat the insurgents in the North east and has also begun discussion with the Israeli government on possible supply of military hardware.
“When the Chief of Army staff said recently that the Nigerian army would soon take possession of weapons that would reverse the trend in the North east, he was referring to the deal between Nigeria and some Russian arms manufacturers. We are also in discussion with Israeli companies. We don’t want to be held ransom by our traditional allies. That is why we are expanding our sources of supply,” the source said.

Amber Rose custody issue
From the moment we learned that Amber Rose had filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa, we assumed the split would get messy.
The couple had been married just over a year; there were accusations of infidelity on both sides; and - perhaps the biggest red flag of all - Amber requested sole custody of her and Wiz' one-year-old son, Sebastian.
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa: Through the Years...
1. Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose Wedding Photo
Amber Rose posted this happy wedding photo to wish Wiz Khalifa a very happy birthday.
We learned today that Amber will receive $1 million under the terms of the couple's prenup, but sources close to the proceedings say the fight between the soon-to-be exes is just getting started.
Wiz has refused to agree to Amber's custody arrangement (which would limit him to visitation rights), and is said to be challenging her for joint custody.
He'll probably get his wish, as in most California court cases, shared custody is generally considered to be in the child's best interest, unless one party can prove that the other is an unfit parent.
Requests for sole custody are often taken as acts of revenge, and that's widely believed to be the case with Amber. But if she's sitting on some damaging information about Wiz' parenting, things could quickly get even messier than they already are.
Rose has accused Khalifa of cheating, but that's hardly enough to strip him of parental rights.
Khalifa is clearly determined to remain in his son's life, as the custody issue is the only matter on which he's fighting Rose. In addition to the lump sum $1 million payment, Khalifa has agreed to pay Rose $5,000 a month in child support.

opium in noodle dish
A Chinese restaurant owner has admitted he grinds opium in his trademark noodle dish, so customers would keep coming back for more.
Zhang confessed to police after one of his regular customers tested positive for opium during a routine traffic stop earlier this month.
Zhang said that he had purchased 4.4lbs of poppy buds for $100 (N16,000) in August and had been crushing them and adding them to the noodles to ‘make it taste better and to improve his business’.

ARFH- liberalization of abortion
The Association for Reproductive and Family Health has called on the Federal Government to liberalise abortion law in Nigeria to make sure that women have safe abortion without risking their lives.
Quoting from the Nigerian Demographic Health Survey 2013, the organization said the maternal mortality ratio is 576 per 100,000 births while “approximately 10,000 Nigerian women, single and married, die annually from unsafe clandestine abortion, many in the prime of their lives.”
The ARFH said women “who survive unsafe abortion may have genital trauma, bleeding, anaemia, emotional and psychiatric sequelae, chronic pelvis pain, menstrual problems and tubal factor infertility.”
The association added that countries which have liberalised their abortion laws value the life of their citizens more than others still living in the past.
The President/CEO of ARFH, Prof. Oladapo Ladipo, made the request in a statement issued in Abuja in commemoration of this year’s “Global Day of Action for Access to Safe and Legal Abortion.”
According to him, rather than public health consideration of abortion legislation and provision of services, the issue of induced abortion has been dominated more by people’s attitudes and emotions.
He said, “Nigeria should learn from some developed countries who have liberalised their law. For example in UK, no induced abortion related death has been reported since 1972 while in Netherlands liberal law on induced abortion is associated with low rates of abortion because of comprehensive and universal sex education in schools and access to family planning for adolescent and adult males and females.
“There is wisdom in liberalising the Nigerian abortion law and also make available the technology, both medical and surgical, to ensure that women have access to safe abortion services without sacrificing their lives prematurely or having their fertility compromised. Universal access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information and quality services would enable individual to live healthier lives and contribute to better global health.
“No woman enjoys subjecting herself to induced abortion, unfortunate circumstances that range from major health reasons, foetal abnormally, rape or social reasons compel them to take the risk.”
Ladipo added that the issue of induced abortion remains divisive in public life, with recurring arguments to liberalise or to restrict access to legal abortions services.
“Women have the right to choose. Do the men who impregnate these girls and women value their lives? Is there any punishment for any man who is responsible for unplanned pregnancy? Is the currently restrictive abortion law in Nigeria a sign of gender discrimination and social injustice? Should we have a national debate or referendum?
“In Nigeria today, the maternal mortality ratio is 576 per 100,000 birth (NDHS 2013) and approximately10,000 Nigerian women single and married die annually from unsafe clandestine abortion, many in the prime of their lives.”.
ARFH recalled that during the latter part of the 19th century and well into the 20th century, abortion laws were restrictive in most countries in the western hemisphere and these laws and attitudes were exported overseas during the colonial expansion.
The association stated that restrictive Nigeria’s 1861 abortion law that still exist today reflects that history.

30 boko haram killed in camp shoot out
Thirty Boko Haram fighters killed one another yesterday in Madagali, Adamawa State during a leadership tussle over who should succeed Abubakar Shekau, shot dead by the Nigerian military last week.Madagali is one of local government areas of Adamawa State occupied by the insurgents. This is even as about 21 people were killed by terrorists in an attack on two Borno communities on Wednesday.
In the Madagali incident, trapped residents said a fight occurred over the disagreement on whether to pick a new leader or surrender to the military which killed their Amir (leader) in Bazza.
“From what we learnt, 30 Boko Haram fighters have been killed in Madagali town after a fight ensued between them over whether to surrender their weapons. They just kept shooting themselves freely,” one Mr Musa Audi told Daily Sun. According to him, there had been disquiet in Boko Haram camp with some calling and agitating for a ceasefire.
Another resident, simply called Stephen, who corroborated Musa, said already, there is also leadership crisis over who should emerge the new leader in Madagali. For almost three weeks now, Madagali, Gulak, Shuwa and Michika towns have been under the control of Boko Haram.”
He said residents told him anybody who violates the rules have his/her fingers cut off or flogged according to the offence .
“They cut-off fingers, flog offenders and marry off spinsters.” The military spokesman in Yola, Capt. Jonathan Nuhu, was yet to react to the development as at press time.
Meanwhile, a security source in Borno State said the insurgents who rode to Shaffa and Shindiffu in Hawul Local Government, launched the coordinated attacks at about 10pm on Wednesday, lasting till midnight.
The source said the insurgents shot sporadically as soon as they arrived in the communities, about 230 kilometres from the capital, Maiduguri. The development forced hundreds of people from their homes into the bush even as the insurgents pursued the residents and opened fire on them.
About 21 people including one Pastor Eliud Mshelizza attached to the local assembly of Living Faith Church (aka Winners’ Chapel) and a teacher at Government Girls’ Secondary School, Shaffa died in the attacks,” a resident of Biu, who lost a family member told Daily Sun. He said the insurgents burnt public buildings, hospital, churches and many houses in both communities.
However, a military source said soldiers from the Biu Artillery and neighbouring Adamawa State were mobilised to repel the attack, adding that the insurgents were intercepted on the way by the soldiers who engaged them in fierce battle. “Our troops rounded up the terrorists and almost all of them were killed,” the source said.
The southern part of Borno has witnessed series of attacks since April when insurgency heightened in the state. Wednesday’s attack was the third time Shaffa came under Boko Haram siege, leaving tales of woes; death and destruction of property

$9.3 million: Fashola- this has made Nigeria a subject of ridicule
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN).The governor, who spoke at the 2014 Gani Fawehinmi Memorial Colloquium held at the University of Lagos, Yaba, lamented the death of late legal icon, saying he would have put the Federal Government on its toes on the issue.
He said: “The issue has made us mere stuff worldwide. And this happened because of the value choices that we have made. Let us stop pointing fingers at those people, you all voted for them. They are representatives of the values we have chosen to live with.
“Will Gani have stood by and watch without demanding an explanation on how the money was spent. And how N2 trillion was spent on oil subsidy without appropriation. Also, how would he have reacted to the stories of the disappearance of the $20 billion or $49 billion depending on what side you believe?,” Fashola querried.
The governor also said the central government has not been consistent on sensitive issues concerning its citizens, especially the continuous abduction of the Chibok girls.
According to him, the Federal Government was not consistent with information on the abducted female students and the attack on the Bama community, saying “Nigeria deserves to know the current state of the issues.”
He said: “At one moment, the information was that the girls were not abducted. Later, we were told by the Federal Government that they now know where the girls were kept.
“Few months later, the same government came out to inform its citizens that the girls have been recovered. And in few minutes, they (Federal Government) backtracked on its information.
“Over the last few days, similar incident occurred in Bama and the report from that place was that insurgency has taken over power. The media organisations who reported it were castigated. The reason was that they reported that Bama had been ceded. And a few days later, there was another report that Bama had been recaptured.”
He said, “I know that these are difficult times for the country, but we have the right to know. And we are not saying that the government should reveal all the information at its disposal. But there must be some consistency of conduct. That was why every 100 days; I report the situation of the state to the residents whom I believe elected me into office.”
Also in attendance at the colloquium were the former military governor of Lagos State, Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu, leading lawyer, Prof Itse Sagay, among others

9ice- The reason behind my agenda
9ice who is going into politics had this to say to
TS in a recent interview.
How did you start your musical career?
I started like every other person; when you don’t have any work to do, you would roam the streets searching for one thing or the other to do. When boys and girls have nothing to do, they begin doing things together looking for talents in themselves. That was how I discovered my talent in singing and I pursued it as a dream, and today, I have been able to achieve that dream.
Why do you always lace your music with Yoruba proverbs?
I grew up with my stepmother and I count myself lucky, because whenever her friends came around for a visit, I usually listened to their conversations. They used to speak in parables a lot, so I must have picked one or two things from them. When I started singing, I inculcated some of the proverbs into my music, and they were widely accepted by my fans.
What are the challenges you’ve encountered in your career?
When I first started my musical career, it was so tough and rough because no parent wanted to see his or her child take music as a career. Then, I stayed with my stepmother and I hid my career from my parents and siblings, because they believed that music was for touts and never-do-well in the society. But now, things have changed, parents now want their children to go into music. When my parents saw my first album, they called my attention to it and said they will support me henceforth. Though, it has not been easy financially, I bless the name of God for seeing me through.
What are your achievements so far as a musician?
My achievement has been so wonderful, at least I have seven albums to my credit, which my fans love, and I have also won seven awards. I give credit to my friends and fans because they are the ones buying my albums. They are the ones that make me get some money from my shows, and I bless the name of God for it.
Your poster is everywhere indicating your interest in politics, why are you quitting music for politics?
Yes, I want to leave music for politics. Next year January, I will be 35-years-old and I’m not praying to still be in music at that age. I am serious about politics now. If you listen to my music, you would notice that politics has been part of me; it’s in my blood. When I started initially, I talked about being your brother’s keeper, and that’s why I studied Law at Lagos State University before I dropped out to concentrate on my music career. I hate when things go wrong. When two or three people are having issues, I love to get there to settle their differences. I have passion for politics and it has always been in my blood.
You and your producer, I D Cabassa are reported to be at loggerheads, what’s your relationship with him now?
There is a confusion going on that I had a quarrel with my producer, I D Cabassa. I’ve had a good relationship with him since I met him. In life, there are things that people don’t seem to understand, any artiste can have so many producers that he or she wants, and when the album comes out, you can put any of the names you like as your producer. It’s not a crime if the producer has done well or not but it’s a matter of choice. I never had any fight with I D Cabassa; I don’t know where people get their information. Presently, I am working with ID Cabassa and Puffy T on a project and they have been so wonderful.
If you go fully into politics, most of your friends and fans will miss you?
I will say they will love me more by the time they see the plans that I have for them. I have so many plans on my mind. Imagine if the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was a politician, he will not just criticize the mistakes of our leaders but also correct them. Imagine if Wole Soyinka was to be the president of this nation, people like him are only preaching the truth and criticising the government but they are not ready to get into politics to make corrections. I am tired of preaching, I want to contribute my own quota for the sake of my people. We have graduates riding commercial motorcycles (okada), selling meat etc, their certificates are not being used but they are shouting that the government is not doing well. There can’t be any change if the youths don’t stand-up now to do something to help the country.
Who is Tony Payne to you?
She’s nothing more than we have kid for each other.
Recently, Tony Payne says every political aspirant is looking for what to eat, are you sure she’s not referring to you?
Hmmm, if it is because of what I want to eat, so be it. Thank God I can drink my garri in the afternoon and eat beans at night without any stress. I can even drive my car to wherever I want to go. I can go to my friends’ houses to watch DStv, even if I don’t have it in my house, glory be to God. 1 Kings 19:7 says: ‘and the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee’. I don’t allow anything or anybody that might want to distract me in my journey, because the journey is too far. It’s not about what I want to eat but what I want to contribute to the development of my people.
What are your plans when you eventually become a legislator?
I come from Ogbomosho North Local Government Area, which is my constituency; we have other local government areas populated by farmers. They have maize farms but they don’t have good roads and water. 80 per cent of the farmers still use cutlasses and hoes. If they are given tractors and they are introduced to modern farming techniques, they will not only cater for themselves but they will also cater for people in other parts of the country. Even if it is only onions that they plant, so many states will benefit. Aside from Ekiti and Ondo States, I have never seen any other western state that is more educated than Ogbomosho. But after their education, the people still go back to ride commercial motorcycles, engage in farming, transportation etc. For youth empowerment and employment, I am going to organise workshops where people can learn many things like how to make soaps, toiletries, threads, candles, fashion designing, hairdressing, catering, electronics, carpentry etc. Immediately, they complete their training, we are going to give them some money to start up their businesses. We are going to make provisions for LAUTECH students because they don’t have hostels; we are going to provide accommodation at a cheaper rate. We will also provide transportation for them. There would be scholarships for primary and secondary school students including free transportation. In my constituency, WAEC fees will be paid for students. I will donate my salary for four years to widows and people who cannot work again, I will give them stipends every month.
You are coming out under the umbrella of APC, have you been nominated as their candidate?
No, but every member of the party is eligible to aspire for any position; it is now left for the party to choose or to go by election. Six of us are going for the same position under APC. The party will decide on how the candidate will emerge.
Let’s pray that you win, but assuming you didn’t win, how would you feel? Would you go back to your music?
My own politics is not a do-or-die; if my party refuses to pick me, life goes on. I will still support the person that won. I’m not doing what I cannot afford to do. Thank God, I am not owing any bank or anybody money, I can’t do something that I cannot afford, so I have no problem. But it will be recorded that Aboloore Akande vied for this post but didn’t win. People will know that I am not a spectator but a participant. For what I will do if the primary didn’t favour me, hum, I will go into business or any other thing that will give me money. Or better still, I will get back to my music career or talk to one of my friends to employ me in his company. Nothing do me, I am a Nigerian that knows how to struggle.

TB joshua- two South Africans told BBC they intend to sue
Two South Africans who lost relatives when a church hostel in Lagos collapsed have told the BBC they intend to sue Nigerian evangelist TB Joshua.
The two men, who both lost sisters in the collapse, are appealing for more families to come together in bringing a case against the preacher.
At least 115 people, including 84 South Africans, died when the multi-storey building fell down earlier this month.
The authorities say it had more floors than its foundation could hold.
'No news'
On Sunday, Mr Joshua, who is one of Nigeria's best-known evangelists and is popular across Africa, announced plans to travel to South Africa to visit the families of the deceased.
Officials suspect the foundations were not suitable for extra floors to be added to the building
Emergency workers allege they were prevented from participating in the rescue, only gaining full access to the site on Sunday afternoon - accusations denied by Pastor Joshua's Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
Thanduxolo Doro and Mpho Molebatsi waited at Johannesburg's OR Tambo airport for days after the collapse for news of their sisters, who had been visiting SCOAN.
Both families had last heard from their relatives hours before the collapse, which happened at about 13:50 local time (12.50 GMT) on Friday 12 September.
"It is not that the building collapsed, rather what was done after the collapse - we didn't get any news from the church," Mr Doro, whose sister Vathiswa Madikiza died, told the BBC.
"When I contacted them they wouldn't tell me anything. We saw reports that emergency workers were denied access initially, access that could have saved lives. The actions of the church after the incident are very telling," he said.

Woman gives birth on toilet during lunch break
A nursery worker had the surprise of her life when she gave birth three months early on the toilet - during her LUNCH BREAK.
Hannah Brown, 27, from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, said the day started off like any other as she headed to the Tree Tops Nursery where she is head of the baby unit.
But things soon took a dramatic twist when she began to feel a bit strange.
Mrs Brown, who was just 28 weeks pregnant at the time, said: "I woke up and didn't feel quite myself but I didn't think much of it and went to work.
"I'd had a scan the day before and everything was fine with the baby so I wasn't worried.
"I was having my lunch break with my colleagues when I felt really uncomfortable so I went to the toilet.
"I was on the loo when I knew I could feel the baby's head."
In a state of panic, Mrs Brown called out for her colleagues who called 999 and her husband, Kyle, 29.
But with the baby well on its way, there wasn't enough time for medical help to arrive.
So with paramedics on the end of the line, Hannah delivered her baby in the toilet.

Hannah Brown
"I could hear the sirens but April just whooshed out with such force her umbilical cord broke.
"I didn't know what to do I was in such shock.
"I was in such disbelief that I had given birth in the toilet at work.
"April was on the floor so my manager told me I better pick her up.
"I scooped her up and we waited for the paramedics."
Mrs Brown and new born April, who was three months premature when she was born in July, were rushed to the intensive care unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
They were soon joined by Mrs Brown's husband, Kyle, who had missed the call to say that his wife was giving birth.
Mr Brown said: "I had a missed call on my mobile whilst Hannah was at work and by the time I had rang back she'd already had the baby.
"I was passed on to paramedics but as luck would have it my phone ran out of battery.
"I frantically packed a bag for Hannah and called Hannah's dad using the house phone and he came and picked me up.
"It was a complete and utter shock as there was no indication she was going to come so early.
She was diagnosed with sleep apnoea, and at five weeks old, April gave her parents the fright of their lives.
Mr Brown said: "She stopped breathing for over 30 seconds it was terrifying and we had talks about possible blood transfusions.
"But thankfully she pulled through and from that day onwards, it was full steam ahead and she just got stronger every day."
She added: "It was more of a shock that she was well enough to bring her home than her unexpected arrival.
"It is so nice to be home to start family life."
But this special occasion was particularly emotional for the young family.
Last year, they lost their first born Finn who was stillborn at 32 weeks.
Mr Brown said: "It was hard having delivered Finn that we were unable to bring him home and it was tough having to walk past the suite where he was born every time I went to visit April and Hannah in hospital.
"But although there have been difficult times before, we will never forget the little boy we had and the day we brought April home."

"But although there have been difficult times before, we will never forget the little boy we had and the day we brought April home."
Amber rose divorce: Reasons
Amber Rose filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa yesterday.
And now we may know why.
She believes he cheated on her. Big time.
Sources tell TMZ that Rose grew sick and tired of Khalifa’s constant excuses for why his wife couldn’t join him on tour.
She continued to make the offer throughout the summer, but Wiz would tell Amber that she should stay at home with the couple's one-year old son... or that he needed to be left alone in order to earn the bulk of the family money.
Eventually, Rose gave up on her tour-joining mission - and also on the marriage. It's unclear if she has any proof of infidelity, but her suspicions were clearly strong enough for Rose to end the union.
Many, of course, believe that Rose is the one who actually cheated.
Khalifa thinks Rose has been sleeping with Nick Cannon - a rumor that started last week after Rose signed Cannon to be her manager - and alleges that she's making up lies about him to cover up for her own misdeeds.
Cannon came out this week and strongly denied having any inappropriate relationship with his new client, however

$9.3 million arms- $20000 scandal
For the second time this week, pandemonium reigned in the House of Representatives, yesterday, following allegations of a $50,000 bribe to members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to suppress a house inquest into the alleged $9.3 million cash seized by the South African Government.
*House of Representatives members in session
The House went into a near riot following the admission by a member of the House, Rep. Ali Madaki, APC, Kano to the leakage of the story of the alleged bribe to the PDP members. Madaki, however, confessed that the bribe amount was $20,000.00 and not the $50,000 as reported by a national newspaper, yesterday.
The PDP deputy leader in the House, Rep. Leo Ogor, however, yesterday, described the allegation as an embarrassment, unparliamentary and an act of blackmail.
The House nevertheless directed its committee to investigate the fresh scam allegation and report within two weeks.
The controversy
Controversy started at the resumed plenary of the House, yesterday, when chairman of the Committee on Rules and Business, Rep. Albert Sam-Tsokwa (PDP, Taraba), raised a point of order bordering on the breach of his privileges.
Citing Order 8, Rule 20 of the House Rules, the Taraba lawmaker complained that he was embarrassed by stories in some national dailies on the walk-out by the All Progressives Congress, APC, members at the previous day’s sitting and the insinuation that PDP members in the House were given $50,000 each to stall debate on the motion to investigate the $9.3 million botched arms deal in South Africa.
Sam-Tsokwa said: “As the House chairman of the Rules and Business committee, this issue is not to my knowledge. No money was received by any member of my party or myself.”
Although, Sam-Tsokwa did not mention anybody’s name, he alleged that the story was the handiwork of a member of the House, adding that the news story breached his privilege as a member of the House.
Rationalising the ruling of the Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha the previous day, which led to the disagreement on the floor, he explained that: “we are all aware that infrastructure motion can be raised, seconded and voted upon. This is not the first time issues like this have been brought to the floor of the House and rejected.”
He submitted that the protest and subsequent walk-out on the House by APC lawmakers was uncalled for and condemnable and consequently prayed the House to mandate the Ethics and Privileges Committee to investigate Madaki’s allegations.
Ruling on the matter, the Deputy Speaker referred the matter to the committee but cautioned his colleagues that the House “is at trying times” and “should be careful as circumstances like this could lead to casualties. It is not my wish that such should happen. It is regrettable that despite the fact that I went extra mile to take the motion, there was still a walk-out,” he said.
Upon the Deputy Speaker’s ruling, Madaki stood up on a point of order to speak. But his effort was igreeted with jeers from some members which created another pandemonium on the floor. Although, Madaki was consistently shouted down by his colleagues, the minority whip, Samson Osagie (APC, Edo) intervened and pleaded that Madaki be allowed to speak.
Madaki’s confession
To the consternation of members, Madaki confessed that he was the person that broke the bribery allegations to the press. He confirmed that he told a journalist that he had it on good authority “that PDP members were given $20,000 each.”
He maintained that what he told the journalist over the telephone about the bribe was that he was aware that each of the PDP members was bribed $20,000 but not $50,000 as was reported.
Following Madaki’s confession, the House was again enveloped in a state of rowdiness for about 10 minutes before order was eventually restored, necessitating the Deputy Speaker to refer the matter to the Ethics and Privileges Committee for investigation.
When contacted on the issue, Deputy Leader, Rep Ogor said: “The whole episode is embarrassing and disgusting. How can somebody fabricate such lies?
“We voted on the matter and the nays carried the day and you still staged a walk-out to protest that you were defeated,” Ogor wondered.
“I found that publication embarrassing and as far as I am concerned it is pure blackmail. It is totally unacceptable and unparliamentary.
“People should know that before you go to the press and make such an allegation you must have your facts as nothing of that nature even happened and I challenge the lawmaker to come up with his facts.
“For the fact that APC was defeated was not enough reason for them to walk out and to add insult to it they brought the allegation that the same PDP members collected $50,000.”

Nick Cannon: it wasnt me
The words "Nick Cannon" and "divorce" have been mentioned in the same sentence a lot lately, but the America's Got Talent host wants the world to know he had nothing to do with the hip hop world's latest breakup.
Sources say that when asked about the news that Amber Rose had filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa, Cannon has been adamant about the fact that he and Rose never even thought of hooking up.
Even though Cannon is producing Rose's new TV show. And he's newly single. And she filed for divorce a week after they started working together. And Wiz accused Amber of cheating...
Ya know, we're beginning to see why people think Nick may have had something to do with it!
But despite all the evidence to the contrary, TMZ reports that Nick insists he has no interest in cheating, or hooking up with anyone who's cheating on someone else.
Nick says he only found out about Amber's marital troubles when her lawyer warned him about the impending separation after he signed her on as a client.

“He tore her pant and he then had carnal knowledge of her plucking out her pubic hair and putting it in her mouth to drink with dry gin. He also inserted a bottle opener into the victim’s private part.

Amber rose files for divorce from wiz khalifa
Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian. She’s willing to give Wiz visitation.
And this is interesting. Amber acknowledges there’s a prenup, which youthink would work in Wiz’ favor, but she says it’s valid presumably, she’s not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support. As for why they split, there’s been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there’s no mention of it in the papers.
There have also been rumours she is been dating Mariah Carey’s hubby, Nick Cannon.

iphone 6: This very expensive phone has issues.
Those who dashed out to get an iPhone 6 last week might want to take extra care following reports of them bending.
The problem, dubbed ‘#bendgate’ on Twitter, has been identified by some users who left their new Apple smartphones in their pockets for extended periods of time.
The flaw is believed to be due to the gadget’s aluminium alloy frame as well as it being a thinner than usual model. It has so far only been seen in the iPhone 6+ – a larger version of the iPhone 6.
The phone, which launched on Friday, is on sale for £619 in the UK.
One user described his phone being bent after putting it in his pocket during a day dancing, eating and driving.
‘Yesterday, I left at 10am with the iPhone in my left FRONT pocket of my suit pants. I drove 4 hours to a wedding, which also involved a lot of sitting during dinner etc but also 2-3 hours of dancing. I left at 2am and went to bed, driving home 4 hours back. ‘ Hanzoh told MacBook rumours.
‘So in total, the 6 Plus was about 18 hours in my pocket while sitting mostly.
‘As I lay it on the coffee table and sat down on the couch to relax from the drive, I saw the reflection of the window in the iPhones slightly distorted. Now I lay it flat with the display side on the table, take a look.’
This isn’t the first time the iPhone has been accused of being bendy nor is the issue unique to Apple, according to Mashable.

Nurse sexually assaulted a brain dead patient
A nursing assistant in Englewood, Colorado, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a patient
Paul Bugarcic, 34, sexually assaulted Julie Henson, who is brain dead, multiple times
Her parents caught him on a video camera they had set up to monitor their daughter's progress
'She couldn’t even fight back, she couldn’t say (anything),' Julie’s father told CBS 4 Denver.
'And if we didn't have that camera in there to catch it, he would've kept on doing it.'
Making things even worse was the fact that the family knew, and trusted, Bugarcic.
Julie's mother, Debbie Henson, says when she watched the video, she could not believe what she was seeing.
'I watched it and I went, "No,"' she said.
Julie began suffering severe headaches back in 2011 after a coworker pulled a chair out from underneath her and she hit her head.
She soon had brain swelling and then a cyst.
The doctors who preformed surgery on her said that there was a 'one in a million chance something might go wrong,' and it did, leaving Julie severely brain injured.
Her family said Julie had been making amazing progress however, which is why they decided to set up the inconspicuous camera in her room, until the sexual assault began at the hands of Bugarcic.
'This guy doing what he did to her took the progress she had and dropped it back about a year,' Debbie said.
They still have hope however that they will get the old Julie back.
'She’s all in there. The poor thing is just trapped in her body,' Debbie said.

Fejiro oliver of NTA demanded a bribe of 50 million naira from Niged State Government
Sahara reporters just reported the news of one Mr Fejiro Oliver of NTA who demanded for a 50million naira bribe from Niger State government
The government of Niger state on Monday provided what it says were text message exchanges between it and Fejiro Oliver, the journalist declared missing since Friday and eventually paraded by the State Security Service, SSS in Minna on Monday.
The text messages as provided by the Niger State government showed that Mr. Oliver allegedly demanded a bribe of N50 million to kill a story about Governor Muazu Aliyu.
The spokesperson of Mr. Aliyu, Israel Ebije, told PREMIUM TIMES Mr. Oliver, whose real name is Tega Oghenedoro, is actually a staff of the Nigerian Television Authority in Asaba Delta state.
“Agreed reporters at times use pen names, but not in this case whereby this man was just using mushroom online platforms to blackmail innocent Nigerians,” he said
When pressed for concrete evidence that the journalist actually demanded bribe, Mr. Ebije forwarded to us what he claimed were text messages exchanged between Mr. Oghenedoro and the Secretary to Government of Niger State, Saidu Ndako
The Chief Press Secretary to Mr. Muazu said after it became clear that the journalist was out to blackmail officials of the state government, he issued a statement warning him to refrain from his actions or be exposed.
“I even put out a caveat to him through his so-called secret reporters warning him of the consequences of his actions, but because he is greedy he still insisted
“We are already aware that the documents he claimed to have were given to him by an aggrieved government official, Iliyasu Dhako, who I have on tape confessing and apologising for his action,” he said.
He also said when the SSG reported the matter to the State Security Service in Minna, they set up a trap for Mr. Oghenedoro “and he greedily fell into it” .
He said most of the communication the SSG had with the journalist was under the guidance of the SSS “just to prove that he was out to extort money” Mr. Ebije said.
Below is the full transcript of the text messages exchanged between the reporter and the SSG sequel to his arrival in Abuja after which he was arrested by the SSS at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

Ndako: We are working out the possibility of beating the 9.30 am deadline to get the ticket out, your coming will be late evening and weekend, please tell me what to do next because I want an end to this issue and possible retrieval of all the documents. Regards
Fejiro: Sir, as long as Israel is out of the issue, we can manage everything successfully. I have gotten the receipt (sic) of the ticket and will be in Abuja tomorrow.
Ndako: Just trying to get prepared for we shall be looking at because of weekend.
Fejiro: SSG Sir, we can discuss everything when I come in tomorrow but you can count on me that it will be fruitful
Ndako: So how do we meet, where and when. need airport pickup?
Fejiro: Good Morning Sir, when the plane is set to fly, I will inform you. My staff in Abuja will be at the airport to pick me. Hotel accommodation for the 3 days is what is left and that can be done when I’m in Abuja.
Ndako: Okay no problem. Call me when you are in town
Fejiro: My flight is leaving now Sir
Meanwhile, the Daily Trust newspaper on Tuesday reported that the Niger State command of the SSS on Monday paraded Mr. Oghenedoro, for demanding N50 million from the state government to as a condition for dropping a story on alleged fraudulent activities within the government.
While parading the suspect before journalists, the state director, of the SSS, Larry Obiagwu, said Mr. Oghenedoro was arrested by his men at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja while on his way to Minna to collect the said amount.
However, a close ally of the journalist and human rights activist, Inibehe Effiong, who had been spearheading the campaign to find out the whereabouts of the journalist said on Tuesday that the Niger state government lied against the reporter
In a post on his Facebook timeline, Mr. Effiong said “We have heard from Fejiro Oliver directly. He says he appreciates our efforts and urged us to continue with the campaign to free him, that he is fine. As for
the information making round, we will respond appropriately. The attempt to paint Fejiro in bad light will fail. We are going to respond to all the issues raised. Now that I have heard from him I am more confident to fight on”

Now that I have heard from him I am more confident to fight on”

syngogue church unlawful abuse of building regulations
THE collapse of the six-storey building within the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos, is a symptom of a disturbing trend in Nigeria where religious bodies carry on as if they are above the law.
This propensity, which is much more pronounced among some of the Pentecostal denominations, mainly involves the indiscriminate and unlawful abuse of building regulations, thus pitching these groups against state authorities.
Just as the dust was yet to clear in Lagos, another unapproved church building belonging to the Christ Chosen Church in Benin came tumbling down, with two people killed. There have been media reports of altercations between the Enugu State Government and the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries and also between the Ogun State Government and the Living Faith Church, owners of the Covenant University, Ota.
The SCOAN disaster would have been avoided if the Church authorities had cooperated with the relevant agency of the Lagos State Government in charge of building regulation. Several buildings within the complex had been declared as unapproved structures and orders made for work to stop. The church continued to build until this tragedy struck, claiming the lives of between 86 and 115 people, most of them visiting foreigners.
It was clearly a mark of failure on the part of both the church and the government to do the right thing. Why should government officials fold their hands when the church continued to develop buildings even after several warnings to stop? If the government had been truly up to its duties, it would have applied the necessary sanctions to make sure that the death trap was discontinued.
The laws are very explicit on steps that must be taken when buildings that are put up without adherence to proper regulations collapse. The ongoing investigation into this tragic incident should be thorough and conclusive, and anyone found culpable should be dealt with according to the law. The property should also be confiscated and the church moved to a safer area. This will serve notice to the religious groups that government will not give up its duties of maintaining the law and ensuring the safety of citizens and foreign visitors alike.
Unless investigations reveal evidence supporting terror attacks after series of aircraft over-flights, we must not fall for any attempt to divert attention and transfer culpability to non-existent aggressors. After all, aviation activities have been part of Lagos and other big cities and no building has gone down anywhere as a result.
We must use this incident to reiterate that no one is above the law, and that adherence to the rule of law is the bounden duty of all.

Man accused of raping a 20 year old girl and uploading her naked pictures online
Oluwakayode, who hails from Osun State allegedly, raped the victim in his apartment at Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of the state.
The victim, a native of Akwa Ibom State, alleged that after being raped, Oluwakayode took her pictures and uploaded them on a popular social media.
Oluwakayode, the suspect, however denied ever raping her, saying “she was my girlfriend.”
He (Oluwakayode) was arrested by the Police at Ifako-Ijaiye and brought to the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA.
Well this is what both the victim and accused had to say
My story— VICTIM
“I did not go to his house as he alleged. On my way back from work Tuesday last week, I saw someone running out of his house. He held my hand saying he wanted to do what was on his mind.
“I asked him why he would do what was on his mind when I had not even accepted his advances. He insisted and dragged me inside the bush. When I wanted to shout, he brought out a knife and said he would kill me there.
“From the bush, he dragged me to his house and locked the door. He used his legs to hold my neck, tore my skirt, my pants and bra, beat me up, and then raped me.”
According to her, “When Oluwakayode’s sister came back around to 9p.m., she asked her brother to open the door, asking him if he wanted to kill me.”
“He has been asking me out for a long time. I was never his girlfriend. I have my own boyfriend.
“He raped me; painfully. Even his sister was crying and he snapped me immediately and his sister even threatened to call his mother.”
‘I only had a fight with my girlfriend’
Narrating his own side of the story, Oluwakayode said: “I only fought with my girlfriend (the victim), but they are accusing me of raping her. I never deny the fact that I snapped her picture when she was naked.
“We were fighting. Any other allegation levelled against me is a big lie. The only thing I did, which I do not deny, is that I took her nude photographs.
“She had been hurting me for a very long period and we had an issue which made me delete her number from my phone. Last week, I got a missed call. I called the number immediately. When I heard her voice, I asked her what she wanted.”
According to him, he met her passing by in June, when he asked for her phone number and she gave it to him.
“She even came to my house and we sat outside and talked. She agreed to date me. There was a day we spoke on phone and she was asking me if I had an apartment. I told her that I didn’t want to rush into anything that I wanted to settle down in my business. I do branding in my house at Ifako.
“They said I raped her; one thing is that I have conscience and she also has conscience: our conscience will judge. I never denied beating her. I did beat her with my head on her face and on her back when she held my manhood.
“All the allegations of bringing out powder, a knife and belt are lies. I have conscience and she has too. That’s all.”

Man suffering from Persisten Genital Arousal Syndrome has 100 orgasms a day
Naturally you will think orgasm is something to enjoy, well not when you have it hundred times a day, it becomes a big problem.
The 37-year-old said: ‘Imagine being on your knees at your father’s funeral beside his casket – saying goodbye to him and then you have nine orgasms right there.
‘While your whole family is standing behind you. It makes you never want to have another orgasm for as long as you live.
‘There’s nothing pleasurable about it because even though it might feel physically good – you’re completely disgusted by what’s going on.’
It’s not fun (Picture: Barcroft)
The painful pelvic episodes have made Dale housebound through fear of cumming in public – just like the time he had an orgasm in the local supermarket and saw ‘around 150 people looking straight at me’.
Dale lives in Two Rivers, Wisconsin with his wife April and two sons Christian, 12, and Tayten, 11.
While she does everything she can to support him, April, 33, is finding Dale’s condition just as hard to live with as he is.
She said: ‘We really struggle right now as he is unable to work and supply for his family and I feel like all the strain is on me.
‘It’s really upsetting, we don’t do things that man and wife should do and we argue over things that should not be affecting us.’
Despite suffering from a near constant erection Dale and April rarely have sex.
