Boko haram:Attacks Michika and Madagali local government in Adamawa

No fewer than 500 houses in the two communities were destroyed even as the insurgents are in full control of Michika and madagali local governments of Adamawa state.
Local villagers told  Vanguard in a telephone interview on Monday from their hideouts that the absence of Military personnel in Michika and its environs has completely dampened the hope of the people that the insurgents will be wiped out soonest.
“ Since the complete take-over of Michika and Madagali by the insurgents on the 7th of September 2014, no single soldier is noticed in Michika Community. The only thing we hear is Jet fighters that come from Yola to drop bombs and go back. Our people are in the state of complete helplessness .
Government seems not to be coming to our aids as the insurgents control everything in our local government” the villagers lamented.
According to them, the insurgents are having filed days killing and maiming our people as nobody is allow to bury the dead leaving their bodies at the mercies of vultures and pigs.
The villagers alleged that it is only Vimtim, the hometown of the Chief of Defence Staff, Air marshal Alex Badeh that has been fortified by the military, giving an impression that the CDS hometown is more important than the entire Madagali and the Michika local government areas.
They called on the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency to deploy military personnel to the affected areas to give the people a sense of belonging that they are Nigerians.
The people Michika faulted the actions of the political class iin the state, whom they accused of abandoning them at their trying periods
